Power and Energy Perspectives (PEP) Blog

This blog discusses electric power and energy issues. I am interested in power electronics, distributed generation (microgrids), smart-grids, nonlinear controls, efficient electrical energy conversion and storage, renewable and alternative energy, and ultra-reliable and fault-tolerant power systems. I am also interested in the effects of disasters on critical power infrastructure (e.g. communication networks power supply) and in finding ways for improving power supply resiliency in such events.
